Another thing that can help your website is to use key words in your content for things you want to talk about or say about your website and to use words and phrases that people are searching for. For example, I am writing an article here about search engine optimization, link building, website content, and things that will help your website. Why am I telling you how to fix your website like this for free?
Because the things that I am writing here in this article are obviously creating "website content" for this website (directorysafe.com) and many of the things that I am saying here are "key words" or words and word phrases that other people will search for on other search engines to find this article. Hopefully people looking for search engine optimization techniques or link building stratigies will find this website and this article and possibly learn a few things but more importantly (for me), I am gaining new visitors to this website - or so I hope as these are my intentions.
Another thing that a lot of people over look nowadays is meta tags and making sure that their title tag, description tag and their key word tags, have words and word phrases that are actually relative to the content found on their website. There is nothing a search engine hates more than to find websites out there that "spam their directory" with websites proclaiming to talk about one thing, but actually contain content about something else. And what I mean by that, is that there are people out there creating a page or a website and typing some content for it and then spamming words in their meta tags, and all over the page in alt tags, title tags, hidden text (same color as the background) and stupid stuff like that.
If your website has absolutely nothing to do "nude photos" then don't put words like that in your tags or try to hide them in other places on your website. Search engines are very smart and doing stupid stuff like that (spaming words on your pages even though your website has nothing to do with those words) is a great way to penelize your website - not help get more visitors to it. And even if it did help you get a new visitor, if that visitor is looking for "nude photos" and your website is about gardening, how long do you really think they are going to stay on your website in the first place? Let me tell you... About 2 seconds, or about as long as it takes to hit the back button. |
